Le printemps a été bien rempli cette année, entre aventures en plein air, célébrations, spectacles et grandes réalisations. Voici quelques-uns des moments qui ont marqué notre saison!
Nicolas a profité d'une belle journée printanière pour parcourir les sentiers de Rigaud.

Le retour du beau temps a permis à Julianne d'aller faire une longue balade de vélo avec ses amies dans les rues et pistes cyclable de Saint-Lazare.
The return of warmer weather gave Julianne the opportunity to enjoy a long bike ride with her friends along the streets and bike paths of Saint-Lazare.
Bravo à Julianne qui a remporté la deuxième place lors d'un concours de dictée!
Congratulations to Julianne for earning second place in a spelling competition!
After months of preparation, Katrine took the stage for her dance performance (check out those crazy outfits!). Meanwhile, Julianne helped supervise and assist the younger dancers throughout the event.

This was Julianne's toughest group of kids, who didn't listen and who ran all over the room during class. But they almost all participated for the show! |

Cette année, le 'camping de frères' avait lieu au parc Voyageur, en Ontario. N'étant disponible que le samedi, nous sommes allés passer la journée avec Philippe, Renaud, Jean-François et leurs familles.
This year, the "Brothers' Camping Trip" took place at Voyageur Park in Ontario. Since we were only available on Saturday, we joined Philippe, Renaud, Jean-François and their families for a fun day at the campground.
Le dimanche, nous sommes allés à la journée des Portes Ouvertes de l'école secondaire Cité des Jeunes, l'école que Julianne fréquentera bientôt...! C'est un très grand campus, mais nous avons bien aimé voir le pavillon des élèves du Secondaire 1 et2, ainsi que les laboratoires de Sciences, le gymnase, et nous avons rencontré un représentant du groupe de la Vie Étudiante, qui nous a parlé des activités, des concours et des beaux projets qui se font en-dehors des classes.
On the Sunday, we went to the Open House at Cité des Jeunes, the high school that Julianne will be attending in the Fall. It is a very large campus, but it was great to see the Pavillion for the grade 7-8 students, the science labs, the gym, and we met a representative of the Student Life committee who talked to Julianne all about the exciting contexts, activities and projects going on outside of the classroom.
Quelques fins de semaine de travail ont permis à Nicolas de redonner fière allure à notre terrasse.
After several weekends of hard work, Nicolas completed a refresh of our backyard deck.
Une fois les travaux terminés, quoi de mieux qu'un bon souper au homard pour profiter du résultat! De plus, Julianne était au camp de Guides cette fin de semaine-là, et elle n'aime pas le homard!
Once the project was complete, Nicolas and Katrine celebrated with a delicious lobster dinner on the newly renovated deck. This was an especially good idea since Julianne was at Guide camp that weekend, and she doesn't like lobster!

Nous avons célébré l'anniversaire de Nicolas en famille, avec William et sa copine Mégane. Julianne et Katrine ont réalisé un magnifique gateau au chocolat, avec une compote de cerise entre les étages, et une décoration sur la thématique du parc d'Assateague au Maryland, un endroit spécial pour Nicolas!

Le printemps s'est terminé sur une note très spéciale avec la graduation de Julianne. Nous sommes très fiers de tout ce qu'elle a accompli et avons hâte de découvrir la suite de son parcours. Elle a même reçu un prix spécial pour son engagement social au cours de son primaire.
Spring ended on a very special note as Julianne graduated. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and look forward to the exciting adventures ahead. She even received a special award for her social engagement throughout her years at Auclair school.

Tout de suite après la graduation de Julianne, Katrine a pris le REM pour aller rejoindre son amie Natasha à Montréal pour une fin de semaine entre filles! Elles avaient une soirée spectacle le samedi et elles ont planifié leur fin de semaine autour de cet événement. Elles ont loué un appartement pour la fin de semaine, elles sont allées au marché Jean-Talon, elles ont marché dans plusieurs quartiers, à la pluie et au grand soleil. Bref, une "girls weekend" réussie!
Right after the graduation, Katrine headed into Montreal to join her friend Natasha for a Girls Weekend! They had a special show on the Saturday night and they built the weekend around that event, renting an AirBnb for the weekend, walking in so many neighbourhoods, in the rain and in the hot sun, as well as going to Jean Talon Market. It was a fabulous time away together!
