C'est l'hiver !

Notre Noël a débuté par un réveillon à la maison, agrémenté de cadeaux et de nourriture réconfortante...

Our Christmas holidays started with a Christmas Eve feast at home, presents and family time. 

Le matin de Noël, nous nous nous sommes rendus à Baie d'Urfé dans la famille de Katrine pour le brunch et pour échanger des cadeaux.

Christmas morning was all about brunch and presents with Katrine's family.

Pour profiter d'une belle journée, nous sommes allés visiter l'Écomuséum à Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, endroit précieux pour Katrine et Nicolas.

We all went to the Ecomuseum together to take avantage of a beautiful winter day. Although it is a special place for the whole family, it is of particular significance for Katrine and Nicolas.

On s'est mis  chic pour accueillir l'arrivée du jour de l'an, en regardant Infoman et le Bye-Bye!

De la belle visite pour le jour de l'an: William et Megan viennent nous voir et faire quelques jeux avec nous! 

We had a great visit with William and his girlfriend Megan on New Year's Day and we played some card games together

Nous avons commencé à jouer au badminton les dimanches lorsque nous pouvons trouver une plage qui est libre (les places se réservent rapidement, c'est populaire, le badminton à Saint-Lazare!). 

We have started playing badminton on Sundays when we can find a free spot (people in saint-Lazare lover their badminton apparently, it's hard to get a spot sometimes!)

 SEMAINE DE RELÂCHE - MARCH BREAK

Nous avons débuté la relâche scolaire par une petite virée à Ottawa. Quelle chance pour la météo: la journée que nous avions choisi pour patiner sur le canal rideau s'est avérée superbe! Et Philippe a pu nous rejoindre pour patiner avec nous :)

We began our March Break with a trip to Ottawa. We skated on the Rideau Canal and the weather really cooperated this year, we had a beautiful day! Nicolas' brother Philippe was able to come join us and he brought his drone to take some fun pictured and videos!

Pour notre souper, mous avons opté pour le East Side Mario's. Et regardez les 'drinks' amusants que nous avons choisis!

Après une nuit à l'hotel Hyatt Place West, Julianne a pu déjeuner avec son amie Violette (elle était dans la chambre juste à côté de la nôtre!), puis aller profiter de la piscine avant que l'on se dirige vers le musée Canadien de la Nature d'Ottawa.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place hotel, where Julianne's friend was staying in the room next door with her family (total coincidence, unplanned) ! The girls were able to have some pool time and breakfast time together before we went to the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Une des raisons que pour laquelle on voulait aller dans ce musée, c'était l'évènement 'papillons en liberté', et nous n'avons pas été déçus, c'était magique !

One of the reasons that we wanted to go to this museum was the "Butterflies in Flight" exhibit, and we were not disappointed, it was amazing!

Julianne tenait vraiment a aller skier pendant la relâche. Et nous sommes tombés sur une journée superbe de ski de printemps à Rigaud ! Quel bonheur :)

Julianne really wanted to go downhill skiing during our week off. We chose another spectacular day to go skiing on Rigaud Mountain, it was a clear bright day. 

Nous sommes allés jouer aux quilles à Pincourt avec Sky, une amie de Julianne.

We went bowling with Sky, one of Julianne's friends. 

Katrine et Julianne ont fait un jeu d'évasion avec Mélanie, l'aime de Katrine, et sa fille Annabelle. Le jeu était difficile, elles ne l'ont pas complété, mais elles se sont bien amusées!

Katrine and Julianne did an escape room game with Katrine's friend Mélanie and her daughter Annabelle. They did not complete the game, it was hard!, but they had a lot of fun.
