With the arrival of Spring, we wanted to share a few photos of our Winter activities, especially after the storm we had a few weeks ago.
Ballade en ski de fond au Parc nature Les Forestiers de Saint-Lazare, le lendemain de la tempête The day after the storm, Nicolas with his skis submerged in snow at the St-Lazare Nature Park |
Nicolas really took advantage of the nice snow conditions to do some cross-country skiing. the next weekend, William and Nicolas went skiing at Belle Neige mountain with Nicolas' cousin Jean-Francois and his family and in-laws. What a beautiful day they had!
On the Sunday, we went as a family to the St-Lazare Nature Park again to do some cross-country skiing. We rented a sled for Julianne, who loved flying down the hills with her dad, but what she loved the most was the hot chocolate!

The following weekend out we went again, this time to do some snowshoeing in a wooded area behind our community library. A gorgeous day, superb conditions, and of course, a thermos full of hot chocolate! Katrine makes it herself! We think that Julianne will be ready to wear her own snowshoes next year. She ran alongside us most of the way, making her own trails in the woods!
